Release of Selena Roberts' A-Rod Book Push To Mid May

From The AP:

Selena Roberts' unauthorized "A-Rod" was originally planned for May, then was moved up to mid-April after Roberts, a Sports Illustrated reporter, broke the news that the Yankees slugger had tested positive for steroids back in 2003.

But with Roberts needing more time for the book -- which has been completed and was sent to the printer this week -- publication was pushed back to late April and now is planned for May 12, according to publisher HarperCollins.

That's the on-sale date," publicist Leslie Cohen said Tuesday.
Great, just in time for him to come off the DL.

LOL scum that try and profit from other people's dirty laundry. FOR SHAME.

All these writers who live off this garbage disgust me. If i could i would encourage everyone to not buy this crap and allow this biotch to profit from someone else's business.

That was the plan all along. Release the book when A-Rod comes back.

Bottom line the book wont be an issue if A-Rod and the yankees just say "No Comment"

They don't need more time for the book. The plan is to release it when Arod comes back.
If they release it and he's on the DL most people will ignore it. No Arod around and book is released who cares. It will just go by the waste side.
Arod just comes off the DL book is just released= Circus.
Now there is talk Arod will be back late April. Don't be surprised if the release is now set for late April.

For Selena Roberts she wouldn't have it any other way.

so i guess MLB isn't going to do an investigation into who leaked the test results. only MLB and employees within the subcontractor who did the test would have had access to that info. I'm surprised the Yankees and Arod are not after them too.

Haha yes I see, now she needs more time for it. Yes, of course. Just a coincidence.

There are two lists, one with the names and one with numbers and a code that if you have both lists you'll know who the samples belong too. The B. Bonds prosecution team is apparently the only ones with both lists and I'm sure they were the ones that leaked the name, that’s why MLB is not going to do anything about it unless they can prove who did it.

so obviously intentional....let's release the book when he's coming back so we can screw with him and the team...

they are out for blood....animals..

Waiting until he returns proves what a piece of shit she is (and I'm no big A-Rod fan, I can tell you that). I'd love to say what this broad really deserves, but I think she's too ugly and gross to ever hope it will happen. Oh well...this is the sort of thing we can expect when dealing with a mug like A-Rod.

Is it too early to come up with scenarios as to how the Yanks might try to get rid of him over the next couple of years? Of course I want to give him a chance to perform, but I must say that just the sound of his name makes me feel dirty somehow. I'll cheer for him only because he's still a part of our team and I want the team to win.
