Teixeira Being Booed

Not much going on during this off-day so here's a couple of videos of the O's fans booing Teixeira. Is it just me or did it seem much worse on TV?

In the first video you can actually hear one of the genius O's fans call Joe Girardi, Joe Torre, apparently they haven't read a sports page in a while.

Geeez, these fools sure love holding on to the false idea that they ever had a chance to sign Teixeira.

Who would want to play for the Orioles if they had a chance to go anywhere else?

The boo-ing sounded really rough. "Back to Glory" would have been right at home amongst all those Oriole fans.

Teixeira doesn't have to worry about the boos anymore after this series. There will be many more yankee fans than o's fans at camden yards next series.

Also LOL @ those A-Roid signs. The face of the Orioles Brian Roberts was on the mitchell report.

It's amazing, people down there really thought they had a chance to sign the guy.

Nobody in their right mind would choose the Orioles over the Yankees, I don't care if you grew up in Camden Yards. People down there just have a delusional view of their little corner of the world.

I don't like this sports radio talk induced boo-ing of a hometown product.

We here in Philly give the same treatment to Kobe Bryant every now and then. We should be proud of our hometown products when they come to town in my opinion.

however, if they are abusers or obvious a-holes then silence is an alternative.

Sorry, I fixed that second video.

its funny how all they know how to say is booo and you suck. Not too original in Baltimore.

Man, I'm really starting to hate O's fans. Overrated? Then why are you so bitter over not getting him? And the O's never seriously got involved in talks, anyway...

Ignorance is bliss, I suppose.

This is perfect! From Jerome Preisler's "Deep in the Red" article on Yesnetwork.com....

"As most of us know, Tex is from the Baltimore area. During the offseason Orioles fans wanted him to sign with their team, which offered to pay him less than maybe three or four other teams and has had a losing culture for about a decade now. He chose a better paycheck and a team that's built to win. Orioles fans got mad, drank some beer and vented. Two weeks from now, they won't be at the ballpark or even watching the team's games. About six months from now, their team will be lucky to finish their season with .500 record."

Hahaha that's great.
