At Rogers Centre/Sky Dome, he's 12-5, with a 4.04 ERA in 19 games (18 starts). - Phil Coke is out tonight, his back is still bothering him.
UPDATE 8:00 p.m.: Chien-Ming Wang will make his next start on Sunday for Scranton/Wilkes-Barree against Columbus.

A lot of people on Pete Abraham blog are complaining about the lineup.
But what do you people expect with Jeter, Posada, Nady and Matsui all hurt, you are going to have a weaker lineup. At the start of the season the yankees had a strong bench.
The lineup is still good enough to win. The defense should be an upgrade tonight with Pettitte pitching.
There's not much Girardi can do at this point. I'd probably bat Gardner or Melky second, and drop Swisher to sixth. Just so there aren't four automatic outs at the bottom, three is bad enough. Plus Gardner can bunt and the way Damon had been hitting he'll probably have a couple chances to move him along.
The first 10 game winning streak of the season starts tonight!
4th!!11!11!!!
-internet fag
The 2 fake umpires are back behind home plate.
They are pretty funny.
Go Bombers, no Doc Halladay excuses tonight.
lead off walk not good need to get ahead on these guys
another wonderful start
Jesus, throw strikes Andy.
And what the hell is going on with Teixeira's glove? It's one thing to be struggling at the plate, but don't carry it onto the field.
Tex is a goober
-vag
How is Teixeira goober? What is a goober?
wow the offense is alive, gardner did something with the bat!
PENA!!111!!!111!!!
goober, the chocolate peanuts at the movie theatres, get wit it dooode
Wow, Gardner homered... Unbelievable... I wanted him to bunt.
What team is this and what have they done with our awful Yankees?
lol.... Hopefully they can tac on a few more and make this a real laugher. I'm still not comfortable with a four-run lead.
Gardner has been hanging out with A-Rod.
Derek Jeter who?
It's a small sample size, but doesn't this team seem to play with a little more energy when Pena's in the game?
Well I guess never facing Richmond didn't really bother anyone.
Schruender,
This time it did not. Thank goodness for that.
swisher has been hitting worse than ransom lately
Swisher has been bad, you're right.
Like how A-Rod's just taking his walks tonight, just his presence in the lineup is really gonna start to make a difference. Tex 2 for 2 tonight.
wow the 2nd inning was the best offensive inning that yanks have had this year. or the best i can remember at this point. haha
Teixeira's had three great at-bats, maybe this is the game that turns him around.
Here's where the Yankees blow it. This team sucks.
PETTITTE HAD BETTER GET HIS HEAD OUT OF HIS ASS, STOP WALKING THESE RETARDS, HE'S NOT GONNA MAKE IT MUCH LONGER...
Relax anon, it's still 6-2.... Oh damn it, come on Pena, you have to make that play.
See anon, he got out of it.
It looked like the beginning of the end to me. Glad I was wrong. Still four innings to go though.
Oh come on, be a little optimistic.
Well those two runs make me feel a little better.
yesss i love this game even though Andy isnt doing great. It feels good to be winning!
guess the turf doesnt agree with Pena
Nice to see some offensive output tonight. Andy is pitching a nice game.
Tomorrow morning my family and I will be flying down to Orlando, Florida, for an 8 day stay at Walt Disney World. This is my first time going and I am very excited, but the bad news is the blog won't be updated at all until I get back (hopefully when I return the Yankees will be doing better).
So, until 8 days from now, so long, and go Yankees!!
Yea, great to see some offense, Crossfire.
That's great YB, have a great time. I was there twice as a kid and had a great time both times.
Thanks. And like I said, hopefully when I come back the Yankees will be doing much better. They've been doing better tonight at least.
I'll still be around for the rest of the night, but we have to be at the airport by 9 so I'm gonna go to sleep soon.
I'll be convinced that Big Tex is out of his funk when he becomes the all-fields hitter everybody says he was. So far he's been a dead pull hitter, following in the path of da Giambino. But hitting to center is a start. Now start working the count and getting more singles.
That's a good point, Mike. He is only pulling the ball.
just throw strikes man...
Yankees Win THHHHAAAAAA YANKEES WIN!
It's really amazing how these guys just can't get the ball over the plate. .... Ahhh, there's the inning ending DP. Still, gotta throw strikes. Mo should never have had to even stand up let alone make a few warmup pitches.
i want that job, where do i sign up to drive like an ass on the field?
My final Yankee game before I leave and it ends on a high note. Good job!
Aceves looked pretty good. I hope he can one of the better guys out there in the 'pen.
Tex is still a goober.
-vag.
Anon,
Aceves did look good, hopefully Joe starts using him more.
YB,
Maybe it's a sign of better things to come.
CC needs to dominate tomorrow and send a message to Toronto then go home for the 10 game homestand on a high note (even though that new monstrosity doesn't provide much of an advantage)
