now damon has the flu.. niiice...
This team is falling apart because of this flu. The flu should be with Boston, not in the yankee clubhouse.
Actually, they've been playing better since being hit with the flu big!
At least Matsui and Melky are feeling better.
Good shit Nicky. You know your fans suck when the opposing fans drown them out.
That was a blast by Swish.
Mets fans are such a joke. Last night when it was 4-0, the tools in my section starting chanting "Let's go Red Sox." They are the most pathetic fans I've ever seen.
How did you like Citi Field, Greg?
Nevermind. I see you talked about it in your recap!
Sorry I was away from my comp for little bit. Yea that pretty much summed it up. The only thing I forgot to mention was that the place it self is nowhere near as high-end as new Yankee Stadium, though that's not necessarily a bad thing.
What a catch by the Melk Man.
CAN THEY SHUT THE HELL UP ABOUT IT ALREADY??
lol
... It's starting to bother me that they can't hit Redding.
Uhhh, guess I spoke too soon, 2-0 Yanks on back-to-back hits by Tex and A-Rod.
Good job Arod.
- Hated
OK I definitely spoke too soon. Four hits a row capped off by a three-run homer by Jorge Posada. 5-0 Yanks!
Wow, what a bomb by POSada. Good job.
- The biggest POSada hater
HIP HIP !!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! JORGE
Damn, they got a hit.
Burnett looks good too. Real good. Robbie was a little lazy with that play.
Ya know. All these strikeouts are great, and you have to like the way Burnett is dealing. However, he's using quite a lot of pitches to do it - aready up around 100 through 6. Lets hope he gets a clean 7th and the bullpen can clean up from there.
holy crap that was a fucking unbelieveable play!!!
If he gets through seven I'll be happy.... Wow, what a great play by Pena.
Damn. Have to like the effort and intensity all around from the team tonight. I like the emotion on the mound from AJ!
Yep, totally agree. Burnett was awesome tonight, his curve was probably as good as its been all year.
That's unbielevable how good AJ can look when he has everything working.
Hopefully he stays hot like that the reminder of the year. The Yanks need him hot like that.
The Metropolitans seem to be the only ones who can't hot HRs at City.
Go Bombers.

3 times is better...
hahahahaha, how'd that happen?
Oh god. Enter Jason Giambi . . . staring just above Mr. Bruney's upper lip.
Yea, Bruney's got the stache going.
Missed the play by Pena. What happened?
I clicked on the "Publish your comment" and it loaded but I thought it had not worked.
I then got a little overanxious and started clicking like hell.
You've got to be understanding, it's 3:43 in the a.m. here.
Go Bombers, of course.
hahahaha, it's no problem.
Anon, he made a diving stab to his right then got up and fired to first for the out.
and of course the scoop by tex to make it even better
Nice win. Great game by Burnett,
Way to shut 'em out and shut 'em up!
Great win... they're making the Mets look like a Triple-A team.
Wow. Outscored the Mess by a count of 29 - 1 the last three games. Impressive stuff there. Granted their lineup looks like it could easily be the Nationals, Pirates, or somewhere in the International League. But I'll take it!
That's true about their lineup, it really is a joke right now. But, at least we've hit their better pitchers.
Pena is an awesome shortstop. I wish we could have his glove in the field, but Jeter's bat.
Though, Pena is holding his own with the bat, too.
I really like him a lot. I hope he gets a chance to develope some more and become a more important player for us. And isn't he only 20 or something like that?
Maybe he have something good in him.
Pena's 23. I like him a lot too, he really looks like a solid ballplayer. Great fielder, good speed, not a great hitter but can handle the bat.
Great win the thing you like about this team is each day a different role player has a big game. Its not just the stars carry this team. It could be Swisher, Gardner, Melky or Cervelli they have a deep team.
Ah, I thought he was younger than 23. Still young, though.
Seriously, we're a better team with him at short over Jeter. I know Jeter has had a solid year with the glove, but Pena's range and agility is far better. In the future, I hope he gets a shot to be a regular.
