Anyway, here's what Mark Feinsand said on his Twitter page about Marte's meeting with Dr. James Andrews:
Dr. Andrews doesn't find anything more wrong with Marte's shoulder. Marte to continue his rehab program in Tampa; no timetable for returnI don't know about you, but I couldn't care less about when Marte returns to the pen. In fact, take your time Damaso.
If anyone out there actually believes this guy can be an effective part of this pen, please feel free to share those thoughts.

I dont think the bullpen is that bad right now. The only two bad spots in the pen is Tomko and Veras. Everyone else is pitching well.
Assuming Hughes stays in the pen and Bruney is healthy. That gives you 1 spot to improve the pen with. You can make a trade or wait for Marte to come back if they believe he can be a productive pitcher.

That is a good bullpen.
Or you could take Hughes out of the bullpen and put him in the minors and make a run for Huston Street.

Tomko has been great outside of one outing. He's our long man, and a good one at that.

Tomko is hit or miss for me. I try to believe that Marte can do good for us but maybe when he comes back he can get us some outs. Ace has done a great job and is carrying the bullpen on his shoulders this year not counting Rivera. I hope Bruney comes back healthy and doesn't have to go back to the DL
I haven't been too pleased with Marte, but I do think he could do a better job than Veras, and I think he'd be a more worthwhile roster spot than Berroa.
That said, I think Melancon should take Veras's spot if Bruney doesn't.
Shelley should take Berroa's roster spot..
I don't see a logical reason why not.
Pena is 5 times the utility player, and Shelley would be a great bat off the bench/when Gardner Swish Damon or Melky need a rest.
Well according to Giardi they want two utility infielders. Which makes no sense for an american league team to have.
They will get rid of Berroa when Nady is ready.
Marte is good when used properly, which is to get leftys out... make him the lefty specialist, and let Coke do whatg Marte was going before
it'd be nice to have a lefty other than coke in the pen...and hell we spent so much $$ on him we might as well try him out a little more
