Marte Throws BP Session

According to Rotoworld.com Damaso Marte threw a 25-pitch batting practice session today in Tampa. They also said that he could begin a rehab assignment as soon as later this week.

I'm not really a big Marte fan, nor do I think he's going to make that much of a difference, but adding another lefty to the pen is a good thing.

If the Yankees feel the same way as I do about Marte but still want a lefty, they might want to look at Zach Kroenke and his 1.17 ERA in Triple-A Scranton. Lefties are hitting just .178 against him this year.

How stupid can the Yankees be? If he's ready they are going to clear a roster spot for him? He stinks.

This FO does everything in its power to make us a worse team.

Replace Tomko with Marte the bullpen needs another lefty. Marte has good stuff hopefully it was the injury that was made him struggle in the beginning of the season.

Off topic but Edwar Rameriez has a 4.50 era in triple a and he was suppose to be one of our top pitchers from the bullpen this year. The yanks misread that one.

edwar was great for the most part of last year - something must be wrong

I'd like Marte back. Coke can't be the only lefty in the pen.

Marte has more potential then Tomko and yes I agree how about giving some of these young arms like Kroenke, and Miltre a shot ? If Wang and/or Pettitte doesn't get it together fast we might get bumped by Tampa for the WC in time.
