Rangers Trade For Pudge

After six seasons away Ivan Rodriguez is once again a Texas Ranger. He was acquired today from the Houston Astros for infielder Jose Vallejo, and right-hand pitcher Matt Nevarez. Pudge was hitting .251/.280/.382 with 8 HR and 34 RBI in 93 games for Houston this season. Maybe the change of scenery will get him hitting. Hopefully it does because that will be bad for the Red Sox, who now trail the Rangers by a full game in the wild card.

Hopefully he'll play as crappy down the stretch for the rangers as he did for the Yanks.

Why? I hope the Rangers win the wild card. I don't want to see Beckett and Lester anywhere near the postseason.
