A-Rod After the Walk-Off

Not trying to be an alarmist here, but did anyone notice A-Rod grab his hip and then limp a little after yesterday's celebration at homeplate?

Check it out below. If you don't want to rewatch the homer (don't know why you wouldn't) fast forward to 24 seconds in. It's worth noting that he is in today's starting lineup, but still check out the video for yourself.

Oh no.

I noticed it right away because I have been watching it. I think it's the third time I have seen him do it. It has obviously been bothering him. If you go back to the Castillo game, he does the same thing.

It is obviously something he deals with every day.

But I don't think there is too much need for concern because he actually picks up Tex a while later and he's not a little guy.

Obviously it's still bothering him, that's why he's getting surgery after the season, and still needs a day off every week or so.

I think he'll be fine, just needs to take it slow. Wouldn't be a bad idea to DH him tomorrow.

Watch this video from the Castillo game. At the 2 minute mark, Cano jumps on ARod's back and you see ARod grab at his right hip.

Where was Jeter after A-Rod hit the home run? After reviewing the footage multiple times, he was no where to be found (of course, he was on base when A-Rod hit the homer...but where in the celebration??)....very strange.

I was wondering the same thing anon, but then I saw a replay on MLB.com and he's there, just hard to see.
