Is Gardner rehab assignment over now? I sure hope so. That is a tough injury though. I remember O'Neil who had the same thumb injury was sayinh it was the worst injury he had because it really affected his hitting after coming off the dl. Because it takes a while to gain back the strength in your hand.
Luckily for Gardner is biggest asset is his speed and his defense.
Hinskie defense has cost the team 4runs the last two games. And anytime Girardi brings in Damon as a defensive replacement that is not a good sign.
Tomorrow will be Gardner's last rehab game.
