Over his last 7 starts Joba is just 1-3, with a 7.09 ERA, but in his last two starts he's allowed just 3 ER in 7 innings pitched, walked just 1, and struck out 5.

- Ian Snell has faced the Yankees one time in his career, back on 8/13 of this season, and got hammered. In 6 innings he allowed 8 runs on 9 hits, walked 3 and struck out 4 on his was to a loss.

- The Yankees a 6-3 against the Mariners this year.

- With a win and a Rangers loss today the Yankees would clinch a playoff berth.

- Robinson Cano is hitting .377/.413/.551 with 2 HR and 5 RBI this month.

- Joe Girardi told the media that Chad Gaudin is officially this team's fifth starter now. Sergio Mitre will pitch out of the bullpen.

- That liner that CC Sabathia took off the chest yesterday apparently didn't even leave a bruise. Tough dude.

Jack, you need to give it a rest. I can imagine how pathetic your life must be, but seriously, you're 12 years old. Go out and play ball or something.

Anonymous said...

You should do the same. Oh thats right you are to old and a bitch.

Greg Cohen said...

I'm enjoying myself just fine watching my first place Yankees and football with a few cold ones.

Anonymous said...

way to be bitch.

Not Jack the Fag said...

Jack what the hell is wrong with you? Do you have a mental disorder? I think you do. You need serious help.

Anonymous said...

you need serious help? I think you should keep that to yourself. i don't want to hear about your personal problems.

Greg Cohen said...

He said you need help you moron.

Anonymous said...

you do too. wow i really don't want to know about your personal problems.

Not Jack the Fag said...

I think he's so young and stupid that he doesn't realize how unfunny he is. It's one thing when a troll is actually humorous, but this kid is just stupid.

Greg Cohen said...

I know what you mean, Not Jack the Fag.

Anonymous said...

don't say that your stupid.

Liam Gallagher said...

Jack the annoying dick. READ THE
Privacy Policy. If you know what it is.

Greg Cohen said...

Hey Liam, do you have any school yearbooks or class photos with Jack in them? I have an idea. *laughs menacingly*

Anonymous said...

no.

Liam Gallagher said...

No I don't Greg. I don't get yearbooks.

Greg Cohen said...

Back to the bad Joba. Chad Gaudin for fourth starter is picking up more steam with every pitch.

Greg Cohen said...

Damn, I had some wonderful photoshop ideas.

Greg Cohen said...

Do you have a digital camera?

Liam Gallagher said...

Do you watch Family Guy?

Greg Cohen said...

Yes, I love that show.

Liam Gallagher said...

Yes but there not aloud in school. But i'll try to get a pic of him if you need one.

Liam Gallagher said...

Do you know the kid with the upside down head?

Brian Danuff said...

Family Guy is hilarious!!

Brian Danuff said...

Yes Liam.

Greg Cohen said...

Hahahahah yea, Tom Tucker's son Jake. He looks like him?

Liam Gallagher said...

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!

Liam Gallagher said...

Yes he does. LOL. Or James Bottomtooth.

Greg Cohen said...

lol

Brian Danuff said...

lol

Liam Gallagher said...

I had to change my name back. My dad didn't like it.

Party pooper.

Brian Danuff said...

Anyone here think if Ken Griffey Jr. wasn't injured all those years with the Reds, he would be the home run king today, or close to it?

Greg Cohen said...

lol that understandable. Sorry Liam's dad.

Greg Cohen said...

Yes YB, but he's seriously sad to watch now. What's he hitting? .217? Truly pathetic to see someone who was once the best player in the game play this poorly.

Liam Gallagher said...

Go here guys. Probably looks and talks like Jack.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7qHmqQWLyw

Brian Danuff said...

Yeah. He was one of my favorite non-Yankee players up until like 3 years ago when he really started slowing down.

Liam Gallagher said...

I think Griffey would have 800 homers if he wasn't injured. But he was some player though. To bad he's getting old.

Greg Cohen said...

Wow, Joba really stinks. I'm getting so sick of watching this kid attempt to pitch.

Brian Danuff said...

Yeah. I feel so bad seeing guys like Jason Giambi, Ken Griffey Jr., etc. really starting to slow down. Both of them were once the best player in the game.

Brian Danuff said...

Yep. They should send him to the Arizona Fall League, and learn how to be a starter.

Greg Cohen said...

Thanks to his innings limit they can't.

Brian Danuff said...

Right.

Liam Gallagher said...

Joba does stink. I'm watching the Stealers and Bears game.

Brian Danuff said...

Boy am I pumped for tonight's game. I'd love to see Big Blue spoil the home opener of Cowboys Stadium and really stick it to Dallas.

Greg Cohen said...

Walk Ichiro... Setup the force anywhere.

Liam Gallagher said...

Me too.

Brian Danuff said...

Crap. 3-0. Come on Joba!!!

Maybe Jeter should go out and talk to him again.

Greg Cohen said...

Good, I don't care what Gutierrez does, this is the right move.

Anyway, yea I'm pumped for tonight too. I hate the Cowboys with a passion.

Brian Danuff said...

Oh sure, now walk Ichiro. 2 days late on that Joe.

Brian Danuff said...

Just like the Red Sox.

Brian Danuff said...

Full count.

Anonymous said...

just like the yankees.

Brian Danuff said...

STFU Jack.

4-0.

Greg Cohen said...

Great, he walks in a run.... lol he's so painful to watch. Take this bum out while they're still in the game.

Greg Cohen said...

Now's it 4-0, you guys were a run ahead.

Liam Gallagher said...

I say bring in Kennedy. It's already a loss if Joba is still pitching like this.

Brian Danuff said...

I'm gonna go now. Be back later.

Anonymous said...

it would be a nice loss.

Greg Cohen said...

I'd have no problem with that Liam. But I'd let him start an inning. Don't bring him in with men on, that's not fair to the kid.

Liam Gallagher said...

See ya YB. Bye Jack. I'll kick your butt later.

Greg Cohen said...

lol, when Grandpa Junior takes you deep you know your day is over.

Liam Gallagher said...

lol.

Anonymous said...

bitch.

Mario said...

JOBA is determined to ruin this season, banish him to the bullpen, if the AAA season wasn't over, he'd be on the first flight to WB/S now...

Greg Cohen said...

I'm starting to think they should have traded him while he still had value.

Jack said...

I fail gym every year.

Liam Gallagher said...

We all see that Jack.

Anonymous said...

bitch.

Greg Cohen said...

They're going to let Joba pitch the third? WHY?

Is Girardi really THAT stupid?

Liam Gallagher said...

I'm gonna go now Greg. I gotta do so homework. Stupid High School.

Greg Cohen said...

Later Liam.

Anonymous said...

I'm going to get a google account.

Liam Gallagher said...

Later Greg. I hope your smart enough to do that Jack. And you used capital letters for once.

crossfire said...

Way to come up small Joba!

The only way I start Joba in a game in the post season is if Gaudin is warmed up and ready to relieve him.

He is consistently inconsistent.

Greg Cohen said...

If Girardi's brain is still functioning he would have Kennedy pitch today. This game is pretty much over and he has to be better than Joba.

Greg Cohen said...

Oh well, this one's over. Bears-Steelers time.

Mike said...

Greg aren't you legitimately worried? This team is going to travel to Anaheim with a 5 game division lead while the sox are playing the royals. The way Boston is playing and the way the Yankees are playing they could very easily be the wild card team come October.

Anonymous said...

Wow, I am so glad that Posada has returned from his suspension so he can give up 7 runs in 2 innings!

Greg Cohen said...

Am I worried? A little. More so for the playoffs. I hate the idea of handing the ball to Joba in any meaningful situation.

Bill Ding said...

http://www.philadelphia-reflections.com/images/panic-button.jpg

PUSH IT NOW.

Greg Cohen said...

Anon, Jack, whomever, Joba gave up the runs, you idiot.

Anonymous said...

No, Posada did. Your the idiot!

Greg Cohen said...

At least the Sox have to face Greinke.

Mike said...

Yea but just the thought of allowing Boston back into the race makes me sick, the way the Yankees have played this year the division should be a guarantee. Now we have to worry about playing Boston with only a 2 game lead.

Anonymous said...

Hey, the Yankees are facing Snell, and their losing! UP YOURS!

Greg Cohen said...

They have a 5.5 game lead. Let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Mike said...

Red Sox will win the division.

bruceb said...

Just turned on the TV and I'm in shock and awe. Wtf? These are the Mariners, not the Angels. Joba should be ashamed of himself. 7-0 down to a pitcher like Ian Snell. Time for this joke experiment to end. Put him back in the pen and treat him like Bruney until he proves he can still pitch.

Mike said...

Like I said, the Yanks are out of it.

Greg Cohen said...

The Yankees are out of it? What?

Mike said...

The way that they are playing, they are done.

Greg Cohen said...

Wow, looks like the Yankees fans transition to acting like Red Sox fans is complete. Stop worrying, at least for now. Worst case scenario is the Yanks 4.5 games up with 12 to go.

Mike said...

What are you talking about?

Scott_in_Sacramento said...

So who is at fault with this entire Joba situation?

It it simply that Joba was over hyped the last two years, and he actually sucks?

Or is the coaching staff screwing him up with all of this innings limit stuff?

With the way they handled Wang, and are handling Joba I am seriously starting to think that the Yanks should fire the entire coaching staff, even if they do win the World Series.

This shit is unacceptable for a team that has the highest payroll in professional sports.

Anonymous said...

Well I posted the first two entries under the name
Mike but apparently someone likes to impersonate other people so I'll stick to anonymous. And the only reason I said 5 was because this game is clearly over so it will be 5.

Mike said...

I'm gonna go now.....bitch! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Greg Cohen said...

You said 2 games.

Greg Cohen said...

Oh oh, that was the impostor. Yea it's 5 as we speak due to Boston's win. If they end up losing it will be 4.5.

Mario said...

i am beside myself that ian snell is out dueling us. i am thoroughly embarrassed as a yankee fan, joba needs to get his head out of his ass... he's is so over rated, he's pathetic...

Anonymous said...

Well yea if they get swept in Anaheim (which wouldn't be the first time) and if the sox sweep the royals (also very possible) it will be 2.

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself a little but the sox should have never been allowed to creep within 5 this is sad.

Greg Cohen said...

I agree with that. Blame Girardi and his managing as though this thing was already over. Hairston batting second, Edwar and Albaladejo coming out of the pen before Coke, Aceves, Hughes, etc. after an off-day.

Anonymous said...

No Greg it's 5.5 as we speak due to Boston's win when the Yankees lose it will be 5.

Greg Cohen said...

That's right, forgot it was six coming into today.

Mario said...

who is IAN SNELL, oh yeah he's the punk that gave up on the pathetic pirates, and we're making him look like CY YOUNG

Greg Cohen said...

Cano's at-bat officially ended this one. Had he brought those runs in and kept the line moving they might have had a chance at a big comeback. Oh well, 5 up with 12 to play. Let's home they don't embarrass themselves against the Angels. I'm gonna go eat, later people.

rob said...

this is bullshit people. this officially shows that joba cant handle the playoffs. i dont care how well he does in his remaining starts, he wont start in the playoffs period. and the fact that mitre did better than him, went longer than him, and didnt give up any runs just proves my point even more. put him in the pen but please, girardi, dont have him start. period.

bruceb said...

Joba talked almost as much crap after the game as he threw during it. When are the Yankees going to face up to the fact that this guy is not going to make a starter and get him back to what he does best, throw one-inning heat from the pen

rpb said...

Hank ("I'm the baseball guy, my brother is the business guy") Steinbrenner said that Joba is a starter. Period, end of discussion! No one in the organization can say anything else. Cashman is having one of those "I can't tell the boss his idea is crazy, we'll just have to do it and let him see for himself" moment. Hank has a plan and he's sticking to it. When Joba goes into the HOF as a 300 game winner he can thank Hank for his great plan.

Mike B. said...

See my comments on Joba in the other thread.

Ina nutshell, he sucks.
