Bye Bye Boston

Trailing 6-4 in the top of the 9th the Angels scored three two-out runs -- one on Bobby Abreu's RBI double, and two more on Vladimir Guerrero's two-run single -- off Jonathan Papelbon and completed their sweep of the Red Sox.

Watching Papelbon blow it was sweet, watching him sulk in the dugout after was even better. Now we just have to put away the Twins and the ALCS will be set.

I wonder if Dan Shaughnessy still thinks sleep walking into the postseason was a good idea. I guess it was all just Francona's master plan..... LOL

Enjoy that nice cold New England winter, fellas.

For some hilarious commentary from Sox fans, go check out the Sox boards over on MLB.com. "Bigger choke, Buckner or Papelbon", is pretty funny. This one, "Last chance and Francona sends up a midget to do a man's job", is also worth the read.
