Statement From Steinbrenner

This is from Yankees.com:

"As we move on to the ALCS, our team's focus remains the same. With the support of the greatest fans in the world, we will continue to march forward as we have done all year."

It's not the fire and brimstone George of years past, but it's short and to the point. The good thing is we heard similar statements from every Yankee after the game. They are all focused on the same thing: winning a championship. And while they certainly were all very happy last night, nobody seemed content.
