CC Hammered By Phillies Minor Leaguers

While the Yankees were over in Sarasota to take on the Orioles, CC Sabathia was pitching in a Triple-A game against the Phillies and got rocked. Here's his ugly line: 3.2IP, 7 H, 7 ER, 1 BB, 4 K, 1 HBP, 2 HR. He threw 88 pitches, 58 of them for strikes. CC brought that total up to 100 by throwing 12 more pitches in the bullpen after the game.

Like I said about Aceves in the game summary below, it's not a big deal, but as Joe Girardi said after finding out about CC's performance, "That's not what we're necessarily looking for."
