Berkman's Ankle is Fine, Listed as Day-to-Day

According to Chad Jennings, Joe Girardi said after the game that Lance Berkman's ankle was "jammed" and that he's listed as day-to-day.

Berkman even tried to convince Girardi to keep him in the game, but the manager wanted to play it safe.

“I think it was precaution,” Berkman said. “We’ll see how it feels. It started to swell a little bit, so we’ll see how it feels in the morning.”

“I think it’s just more painful than anything else,” he said. “I don’t think there’s anything major wrong. I think I just twisted it when I hit the bag there.”

I guess that's good new, but I'm still pissed they could only get two hits off freaking Bryan Bullington and his career 5.02 ERA.
