Saturday Night Open Thread

Here's a couple video's you might be interested in. First is this video from sec. 203 (The Bleacher Creatures) of Jeter's record breaking single.

Then you can watch this from ESPN of Buster Olney talking about the Captain:

As usual you can discuss anything you'd like; today's embarrassing loss, Burnett's struggles, opening Sunday in the NFL, etc.

Also, here's something to think about; according to Pete Caldera, the last time Baltimore swept three gamess in the Bronx was June 6-8 of 1986. The losing pitchers that series were Ron Guidry, Tommy John, and Ed Whitson.

What a crappy game today. We need 7 or 8 solid innings from CC tomorrow to get back on track.

The Yanks may have locked up the divison, but Joe Girardi needs to realize these games still mean something. We need to have homefield advantage, and that means we need to put out our A lineup everyday until we do indeed have home-field advatange locked up.
